Проверка актуальности. Состояние: Пакет жив: sisyphus 2.1.0-alt1, p11 2.0.6, p10 1.6.1 (git: packages/gears/l/lightdm-settings.git). Upstream активен, последняя активность 2026-01. Корневая причина в коде (не ALT-патч): usr/share/applications/lightdm-settings.desktop в sisyphus (2.1.0) и master содержит Categories=GNOME;GTK;Settings;System;XFCE;X-XFCE-SettingsDialog;X-XFCE-SystemSettings — категории KDE;System; нет. Поэтому на KDE (Education K) программа не попадает ни в одну подкатегорию меню, а на GNOME/Cinnamon (Workstation/Server) отображается — это и есть описанный симптом. Решение: Оставить открытым — требуется фикс upstream: добавить KDE;System; (или соответствующую категорию) в Categories .desktop-файла, чтобы программа попадала в подкатегории на всех DE. Исправляйте брендинг Альт Образования. Там меню переопределяется. С desktop файлом проблемы нет. Результат проверки актуальности Состояние: lightdm-settings не попадает в подкатегории меню Education. Сопровождающий пакета указал, что desktop-файл в порядке, меню переопределяет брендинг Альт Образования. - Fix the "from simple to complex" typo on a Russian slide (Closes: 59611).
- Spell the company name BaseALT on the English slides
and the welcome page (Closes: 60203).
- Keep installer section contents below their titles after Font+ in Help:
drop the border rule from group boxes (Closes: 45989, 57876).
- menu:
+ Show lightdm-settings under Settings in Xfce (Closes: 46682).
+ Keep only the rules the Xfce menu adds to the ALT one, and drop the
medit and codeblocks overrides that no longer change anything.
- Name what our defaults refer to by the ids the programs look up:
+ Open pictures in ristretto under Xfce: it now installs
org.xfce.ristretto.desktop, so the old id was skipped.
+ Name the KRunner plugins by their Plasma 6 ids. Only AppStream
differs from ALT's defaults, and it stays off.
+ Point the preferred browser at firefox where chromium is missing.
- Stop handing out xfce4-power-manager runtime state, which made it
write 1 into the kernel's brightness_switch_enabled on exit.
- Drop more settings that equal the defaults of the programs reading them:
+ Xfce: the Whisker properties defaults.rc already holds, the panel
properties nothing reads, double click time, workspace names, the
toolbar icon size, desktop icon positions, the thunar-volman
commands and every preferred application except the browser.
+ GTK: the theme includes and the options GTK sets or ignores itself.
+ KDE: the widget style, the Konsole defaults, the lock screen
wallpaper and what Plasma writes into the applet layout by itself.
- Drop the greeter cursor workaround, not installed since 2019.
