Шаги воспроизведения:
# apt-get install lxd
# systemctl enable --now lxd
# lxd init (оставить всё по умолчанию)

# lxc remote list | grep images
| images          | https://images.linuxcontainers.org

# lxc image list images:alt
# lxc image list images:ubuntu
# lxc image list images

Получаемый результат:

Список образов пустой:

Кажется для lxd пользователей в этом году заблокировали доступ к контейнерам.
