(This bug is unlikely to be a dupe, since nothing can be found by the keywords "expire", "passwd expire", "истечь", "истечение", "срок". I am surprised that has been the case to this day.) The shadow-utils passwd(8) utility has a documented -e option to immediately expire the password for an account: % passwd --help | grep -F 'force expire' -e, --expire force expire the password for the named account It looks like neither of the 2 passwd programs packaged in the ALT repos provides this functionality. Could someone please implement this option? Thanks in advance.
