/usr/bin/VBoxClient --wayland
улучшает работу в Wayland, но не запускается, т.к. расположен в череззаднем месте, в
/etc/X11/xinit.d/
, а надо в 
/etc/xdg/autostart/

   "VBoxClient: the VirtualBox kernel service is not running"
   appeared upon session login (closes:52658)
 - Resolved an issue where VBoxClient --wayland failed to start under Wayland.
   The service has been moved from /etc/X11/xinit.d/ to the correct autostart
   location /etc/xdg/autostart/ (closes:53882)

В p11 тоже надо. Дистрибутивы уже вышли.
