Some flash drives (see /proc/bus/usb/devices attached) can be mounted and
read/written from/to, but large data (100kB -- 1Mb, may be smaller) transfers
stops with messages:

usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 1113
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 2041
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 253
usb-uhci.c: interrupt, status 3, frame# 717

Я бы проверил кабель (и если это разъём на морде или в хабе -- сперва воткнул в
тот, что на материнке, бишь сзади).

Сервер, два гнезда сзади, "проверял" оба, неоднократно.
