When starting  gvim file -font -*-courier-medium-o-normal--12-*-*-*-*-*-cp866 russian letters   looks badly. When starting nedit with this file and font all ok.

File is in cp866 of cource.Locale koi8-r by default. System Spring then updated to Sisypthus (up to now).Fonts cyr-rfx-ibm-cp866-1.0.tgz from ftp.inp.nsk.su /pub/BINP/X11/fonts/cyr-rfx/ installed by DrakeFont.

Прошу подтвердить либо опровергнуть актуальность этой ошибки.

Не могу воспроизвести, и потом, в vim есть более прямые механизмы редактировать
текст в "неродной" кодировке.
