seamonkey-1.1.11-alt0.M41.1 seamonkey-ru must be removed. The setup is the same as in https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17203 , but with seamonkey-ru removed. In this case, the severity is much worse: So, first I open the ftp directory (ftp://etik/), which contains this entry in Russian. In order to read the name, I select "UTF-8" in "View > Encoding" menu. The Russian entry is displayed almost correct, but not completely (unlike this case, with seamonkey-ru, it used to be displayed correctly) -- note some junk between the letters: Рабо�?ий �?�?ол из Windows What is critical, it's that seamonkey is not able to go inside into this directory: as I click on it, the error message is displayed: "550 Failed to change directory" (with seamonkey-ru it used to work).

PS: проверялось относительно vsftpd-2.3.4-alt1; lftp-4.3.1-alt1 в локали ru_RU.UTF-8 показал "Проверка связи", как и предполагалось (cd Каталог тоже отработало).

Показывает: �?а�?алог; перейти в него не может. Это при выставлении вручную View > Character Encoding > More Encodings > Unicode > Unicode (UTF-8) Специально перезапустил xinetd из рутшелла utf-ной локали и проверил, что lftp-4.3.5-alt1 видит и входит. Полагаю, это WONTFIX и просьба вешать в апстрим.
PS: проверял на свежеприехавшей seamonkey-2.7-alt1
