bash-completion gives different results under root and under a normal user when
completing installed packages; the result under a normal user looks correct:

[root@localhost ~]# rpm -q xorg-
xorg-server-control xorg-x11-drv-vboxmouse
[root@localhost ~]#

It's not because filenames are intervening:

[root@localhost ~]# ls xorg*
ls: cannot access xorg*: No such file or directory
[root@localhost ~]#
