Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2009-06-03 23:53:26 MSD
pine-4.64L-alt5 (also applicable to the last 4.64L-alt6)

The old recoding engine (pine-4.58L-alt4 -- http://sisyphus.ru/srpm/Branch3/pine/get) was far from perfect (at least, wrt extensibility and the support for UTF-8), but the old interface is a convenient thing 4.64L is missing:

the old UI allowed to forcibly make (^R) arbitrary chains of conversions when reading a message, and save the recoded one. That's very useful because messages often come with broken headers.

This is a FR to merge the old interface with the new Suse's recoding patch. (For me or someone else to do.)
