"The Thunar VCS Plugin adds Subversion and GIT actions to the context menu of thunar. This gives a SVN integration and GIT integration to Thunar."

It is a nice thing for users who have to interact (in simple ways) with VCS, but who are not apt to command-line. (The feature would be similar to the menu feature that "git for Windows" provides.)
