NetworkManager-0.7.2-alt1.M51.2 in the LiveCD of altlinux-5.0.0-kdesktop-i586-ru-install-dvd5.iso. I have connected to a wireless network via the menu of NetworkManager applet, and the configuration by DHCP was done. But the default route wasn't set up. The log reads: ... NetworkManager: <info> address 192.168.0.12 ... ... prefix 24 (255.255.255.0) ... ... gateway 192.168.0.1 ... ... nameserver '192.168.0.1' and after this the state is as follows: $ /sbin/ip route 192.168.0.0/24 dev wlan0 proto kernel scope link src 192.168.0.12 metric 2 $ with no default route! Locally the network works well, pinging 192.168.0.1 is OK.
It is KD4 and its plasmoid? Then check the routing configuration, perhaps it not set a default route, if it is clearly not configured to do so.
This actually appears to be a very unstable thing: on that boot, it was reproducible (I tried to connect to this wifi network several times, and it didn't set up the default route), but today I booted another time from the same LiveCD, and connected to this network, and the default route was set up. So I don't know how to treat this bug, because I can't really provide more information now.
I believe that it was local issue. I not able to reproduce that behavior.
A similar unstable bug in a live system based on p6: https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=26658 . It is unstable in when this happens, but after it happened, then it is stable that the default route isn't set (even after replugging the Ethernet cable).
