В свое время, я загрузил в сизиф непроверенный пакет branding-simply-linux в котором в секции graphics была удалена следующая строчка: 

install graphics/icons/altlinux.png %buildroot/%_iconsdir/altlinux.png

Новый сопровождающий пакета не проверив бекпортировал подобное в p5 в результате у пользователей пропали иконки в меню для приложений типа "Центр управления системой", "apt-indicator", ссылки на страницу документации и ссылки на главную страницу.
