Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2013-10-21 00:07:58 MSK
The recursive load problem mentioned in http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-gnu-emacs/2012-04/msg00007.html happens in emacs23-tramp-2.1.20-alt3 and emacs23-common-23.3-alt3 .

Sometimes, there is an attempt to load TRAMP even when the user has no intention to make use of TRAMP (perhaps, because of my customizations: when doing C-x C-f when the cursor is on an URL), and after that any work in Emacs is blocked.

Since there is no other version of emacs-tramp available in t6 branch, and since emacs-tramp is required by emacs, this problem can't be easily avoided by removing the package.
