Похоже, опять наступило время для обновления... Это из рассылки syslog-ng@lists.balabit: > As I'm working with it here, what's the recommended version folks > are running? Currently I'm on 3.3.11, and I figure I might as well > upgrade..thanks for any pointers/tips. I'd recommend upgrading from 3.3, preferably to 3.5 (3.5.5 is going to be released soon). Support for 3.3 will end roughly in September, and I plan to stop maintaining 3.4 by the end of the year. So 3.5 would be the best choice at the moment.
А, может, и 3.6... One of the most anticipated features of syslog-ng 3.6 is the journal source. This enables syslog-ng to read journal files directly instead of relying on the syslog-ng compatibility socket. Recently, syslog compatibility was disabled by default in systemd journal, but using the system() source syslog-ng automatically uses the journal source where available, making the change transparent to the user. The use of the journal source also enables syslog-ng to collect logs from the early boot process and additional name value pairs collected by journald.
syslog-ng-3.6.1-alt1 -> sisyphus: * Sat Dec 06 2014 Sergey Y. Afonin <asy@altlinux> 3.6.1-alt1 - 3.6.1 (ALT #30325) - new subpackage devel-test - added disabling/enabling klogd in post/preun (ALT #28895#c12)
Новые дополнительные модули (и journal source в том числе) не собирал, список модулей остался тот же, что и был.
