При сборке нового postgis-2.3 получаю
x86_64: NEW bad_elf_symbols detected:
postgis-2.3.1-alt2.x86_64.rpm	/usr/lib64/pgsql/postgis-2.3.so	U	GEOSMinimumClearance
postgis-2.3.1-alt2.x86_64.rpm	/usr/lib64/pgsql/postgis-2.3.so	U	GEOSMinimumClearanceLine

В поставленной библиотеке libgeos-3.6.0-alt1.dev.git20150816.1.x86_64  этих символов, похоже, нет.
readelf -s libgeos_c.so| grep GEOSMinimumClearance
пусто

К сожалению, real@ его уже не починит.

там уже есть 3.7, компилируется под python3
