It's been reported that trying to boot ALT Workstation 8.2's rescue part under UEFI results in black screen while standalone ALT Rescue does work. We've reproduced the problem and it looks like it's the plymouth bits that get into rescue's initrd cause it. *Probably* we should: 1) make sure there are no plymouth components in rescue's initrd, OR 2) at least make sure plymouth is disabled via kernel command line for rescue. The workaround is to switch over a few consoles to find the one that's active (Ctrl-Alt-F[123], Alt-<left>/<right> should do).
I can't reproduce this in 9.1.900.
