It is reproducable when DISPLAY can not be connected (as in the example below, there is no :15). This is reproducable only when drakconf is run by root. Unprivileged consolehelper thinks that \"Permission denied\" is the password, asks password, receives sigpipe, reports it and then segfaults... The bug is in unprivileged consolehelper only.
Fixed in consolehelper-0.2.1-alt1
