It is reproducable when DISPLAY can not be connected (as in the example below, there is no :15).

But it seems to me that this is not specific only to this case, I saw it in the graphical prompt sometimes.

This is reproducable only when drakconf is run by root.
Unprivileged consolehelper thinks that \&quot;Permission denied\&quot; is the password,
asks password, receives sigpipe, reports it and then segfaults...

The bug is in unprivileged consolehelper only.
