I think the intention to have --target-dierctory option in coreutils where possible is very good; it makes using coreutils with xargs simpler. I hope it\'s not a typo. Finally I\'ve got written confirmation from one of coreutils maintainers (Jim Meyering): --- I planned to do it when I implemented it for those other commands, but never got around to it, then forgot :-) Thanks for pointing it out.
