На текущем Сизифе просто вешает иксы, а затем похоже и систему.

KDE4 не запускается вообще.

Если "вешает иксы" и "KDE4 не запускается ввобще" имеют одно и то же значение, то этот баг дублирует #20682.

у меня P4M890 и проблемы именно с KDE4.

На последнем LiveCD из altlinux-6.0.0_beta20110713-kdesktop-x86_64-ru-install-dvd5.iso, с картой на этом драйвере, KDE4 не грузится, точнее зацикливает на бесконечных попытках загрузки, с перегрузкой на 4-5 стадии, по сплешу, загрузки.

Драйвер openchrome больше не развивается из-за политики производителя чипов.
