Несколько дней назад этот апплет полностью отказал - не может получить данные. На оффсайте нашелся ответ:

Прошу обновить этот апплет либо взять у меня (http://git.altlinux.org/people/drool/packages/xfce4-weather-plugin.git) уже готовое.
