Вот последовательность действий, которую мне уже слегка надоело производить при
настройке mod_perl:

0. cd /etc/httpd/conf
1. echo "Include conf/vhosts/Vhosts-perl.conf" >> httpd-perl.conf
2. sed -e 's,vhosts,vhosts-perl,' < vhosts/Vhosts.conf > vhosts/Vhosts-perl.conf
3. mkdir vhosts-perl.d

Это полезно и при standalone установке и при PERLPROXIED.

vhosts-perl.d/00-example.conf можешь сюда же добавить, если есть отдельный смысл.
