/etc/xinet.d/amanda содержит строчку

server = /usr/lib/amanda/amandad at x86_64 
---
А должна бы указывать на /usr/lib64/amanda/amandad
В результате сервис не работает.

Спасибо, исправил в amanda-2.5.1-alt3. Скоро придёт в Сизиф.
