после выбора "установка" на стадии начальной загрузки жмём esc -- пингвин так и 
висит перекрывая вывод на консоли

Увы, способ запуска пингвина из пропагатора не даёт возможности оборвать его по esc

Мож действительно не запускать или сдвинуть правее/выше?
(повторюсь, у кого-то анимация ложилась поверх списка драйверов... хотя уж если
этот список вывалился, то обычно труба дело)

это реально мешает
а при splash=0 это просто жуть как выглядит

В релизном Desktop 4.0.0 пингвина на стадии загрузки нет
