обрезает звуки :(
где-то на пол секунды :(

вместо nose no,
вместо glesses gla(s), и т. д.

Дитё играться не может :(

У меня дома на 4.0/branch,snd-fm810 и на Сизифе,snd-hda-intel не 
воспроизводиться
попробуйте arts включить

если запускать arts, то да, все в порядке.

может, добавить wrapper c проверкой на arts?
(вне KDE?) по умолчанию режет :(

Проблема скорее всего в aplay

гм. запустил параллельно несколько
while : ; do aplay /usr/share/apps/ktuberling/sounds/en/moustache.wav; done
они друг друга не режут, звук микшируется, накладывается друг на друга.
