Согласно bcm43xx.berlios.de версия чипа 4311 поддерживается начиная с 2.6.20.6.
Хотя судя по linuxwireless.org чем новее будет драйвер, тем лучше:
Currently, 4311/4312 PCI-E devices as well as devices based on the 4318 chip
family have transmission power issues. This is being worked on and good progress
is reported.
Ооочень бы хотелось ядра по-новее.
