В конфигурационном файл /etc/nessus/nessusd.conf прописаны пути к ssl сертификатам без которых сервер не стартует.

Так же утилита nessus-mkcert создает сертификаты по умолчанию в каталоге /usr/com/ и /usr/var что на мой взгляд не совсем корректно.
