Текущий пакет заточен для конкретной либы - libphp-5.2.2.so, хотя уже есть новая libphp-5.2.5.so. Обе либы в системе есть, но вываливается ошибка зависимостей.

#apt-get install php5-pgsql

Все баги в бранчах должны вешаться на отвественных бранча. Мантейнеры пакетов в сизифе не заинтересованы в поддержке сторонних продуктов на базе Сизифа.
