Ok ALT Linux desktop development team likes lilo more than grub but it would be muuch easier if GRUB is always available in boot loader installation option during installation of ALT Linux,

grub2 is the default bootloader since p6/branch:

(note that alterator-lilo is still supported with installer-distro-altlinux-generic with mkimage-profiles, and I plan to tackle syslinux4 support either)
