Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2008-12-24 21:28:49 MSK
An installed 4.1 Desktop system is missing libnss-mdns, so resolving names in ad-hoc networks is not working by default.

It would be a convenient feature in the default installation of the Desktop distro.

This feature is also missing from the LiveCD: https://bugzilla.altlinux.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18318 (more details there).

This module requires avahi-daemon, so this feature request essentially means a request for a full-scale zeroconf/mdns /... support.

Then also having the graphical expolorer for the discovered services would be nice: kdenetwork-kdnssd.

Уже довольно давно устанавливается по умолчанию.
