Description Ivan Zakharyaschev 2009-01-14 20:09:18 MSK
gedit-2.24.2-alt1
(also installed:
gedit-plugins-2.20.0-alt1.1
gedit-plugins-seahorse-2.24.0-alt2
gedit-plugin-devhelp-0.19-alt2.qa1
)

How to reproduce: start gedit, press Alt-F.
Result: it beeps.
Expected: one gets into the "File" menu ("F" in "File" is even underlined).

Workaround: use the mouse.
Comment 1 Ivan Zakharyaschev 2009-01-14 20:45:16 MSK
Alt-E for the "Edit" menu works.
Hence, another workaround: Alt-E, then left.

Not reproduced on my machine. Check that Alt-F is not a shortcut for another action, looks very likely.

As mentioned above.
