При попытке заархивировать файл больше 1GB говорит "File too large".
В гугле нашел вот такую информацию:

Remove zip and unzip. Download the source for zip and unzip.
Then add -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 to the CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS to the ./configure command.
Also do not forget to include largefile option if there is one.

Собираю zip-3.0
Пока плохо работает в локали не UTF-8.

Проверил, zip 3.0 работает с большими файлами.
