Some local settings can be appended to /etc/X11/Xresources by the site admin. But if so, the update of app-defaults pkg from Ssiyphus becomes a complex task: he needs to merge his old and the new distro\'s revision. So it can be more convenient to have a separate file for local settings, e.g. /etc/X11/Xresources-local, or /etc/X11/Xresources-site. The same for the localized Xresources.*. This can be implemnted as an include at the end of /etc/X11/Xresources or in the /etc/X11/Xsession script. The attched patch shows the 1st implementation variant. --- --- app-defaults-0.2.4-alt1
