mozilla-plugin-gnash-0.8.6-alt2 In seamonkey-1.1.18-alt2 run through "ssh -X -Y" (over a wireless network), I open, for example, the URL http://www.intuit.ru/department/os/osunix/ and the network gets stuffed (all SSH connections almost hang). This is obviously because of the traffic generated by gnash showing the moving pictures from the ads. (AFAIR, mozilla-plugin-adobe-flash used not to work that bad.) One quick workaround would be to simply switch off flash in the browser: $ tail /etc/gnashpluginrc # ########################################################### # Start the gui in STOP mode # # This is a commonly wanted feature for plugin runs. # # Default: off # set startStopped on $ Perhaps, the following setting also could do something with the non-optimal usage of the X protocol by gnash -- an excerpt from /etc/gnashrc: # Enable support for the X Video extension. Note that this requires a # kernel/X11 driver, and compile-time gstreamer or ffmpeg and libXv. # # Default: false # #set XVideo true
The running gnash processes: $ ps x | fgrep gnash 26689 pts/7 S 0:16 /usr/bin/gtk-gnash -x 50334246 -j 985 -k 60 -u http://test.osp.ru/images/rmt_autm900a.swf -F 48 -U http://mb.osp.ru/cgi-bin/iframe/intuit_t 26692 pts/7 S 0:02 /usr/bin/gtk-gnash -x 50334300 -j 240 -k 400 -u http://mb.osp.ru/cgi-bin/banner/637?36887&login=intuit-240x400&referer=http%3A//www.intuit. 26911 pts/7 S 0:08 /usr/bin/gtk-gnash -x 50354538 -j 985 -k 60 -u http://test.osp.ru/images/rmt_autm900a.swf -F 40 -U http://mb.osp.ru/cgi-bin/iframe/intuit_t 26912 pts/7 S 0:00 /usr/bin/gtk-gnash -x 50354644 -j 240 -k 400 -u http://mb.osp.ru/cgi-bin/banner/637?59918&login=intuit-240x400&referer=http%3A//www.intuit. 26934 pts/7 S+ 0:00 fgrep gnash $
Бага еще актуальна?
Если да, то всяко в апстрим.
