собственно по ссылке все описано.
патч (http://launchpadlibrarian.net/33874833/libxklavier_4.0-0ubuntu5.debdiff) на сизифный libxklavier не пристроить, видимо. нужен свежий libxklavier. А в свежем libxklavier soname сменился...

вот нашелся патч для сизифной libxklavier

с ним gnome в nx чувствует себя лучше
