При добавление принтера как \"Printer URI\" и выбора uri ncp:// printerdrake ничего не говорит о том что в системе отсутсвует cups-backend-ncp, при этом в printers.conf (cups) оказывается строчка вида 
<a href="file://dev/null">file://dev/null</a> вместо <a href="ncp://user:<a href="mailto:password@SERVER/QUEUE">ncp://user:password@SERVER/QUEUE</a" target="_new">password@SERVER/QUEUE">ncp://user:password@SERVER/QUEUE</a</a>>
Проблема пристутсвует в ALM 2.2 как на этапе инсталяции так и при дальшейшем вызове printerdrake
