Когда /etc/mtab залинкован на /proc/mounts при монтировании файловых системы с опцией -f (обновление mtab для ранее смонтированных FS) вылезает ругать про already mounted.  Некрасиво, предлагаю обернуть все вызовы mount -f в [ ! -L /etc/mtab ] (всё равно реального монтирования в этом случае не происходит).
