У exaile странные зависимости. sphinx ему точно не нужен.
И неужели зависимости сами не ищутся?

Для сборки достаточно
BuildRequires: help2man python-module-pygobject python-devel
А зависимости автоматом находятся.

Сборочные зависимости добавлялись вручную по мере сбора новых версий. Поиск зависимостей в python-приложениях не идеальный, поэтому requires приходилось добавлять также вручную.
Сейчас действительно некоторые зависимости стали лишними и их можно спокойно выкинуть.
