уже полтора года без обновлений.
попробовал пересобрать сам, замечена одна проблема - не проходит python.req.py - в файле /usr/share/geany/templates/main.py синтаксическая ошибка возникает.

я обошел просто - удалил его после инсталяции потому как новая среда нужнее чем примитивный шаблон.

еще мелкое пожелание - плагинов бы к geany.

И от "примитивных шаблонов" бывает польза.
