Пытаюсь раздать уже скачанный файл. Получаю:
Tracker: [Couldn't resolve host name]

Естественно, на уровне системы всё резолвится нормально.

rpm -q rtorrent
rtorrent-0.8.5-alt

Судя по комментариям к тому тикету, проблема не в rtorrent, а в curl. Попробуйте обновить curl.
