If I want to share my 3g connection to other computers, I can do it only on wireless connections. On wired, I get this:

[alecs@rainsoul ~]$ sudo nmcli con up id shared

** (process:360): WARNING **: _nm_object_get_property: Error getting 'State' for /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/18: (19) Method "Get" with signature "ss" on interface "org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties" doesn't exist

Active connection state: unknown
Active connection path: /org/freedesktop/NetworkManager/ActiveConnection/18

I'm working on packing NM-0.9 now, I will test this case too.

Note: Connections sharing with dnsmasq-2.57 was totally broken.
It is fixed in NetworkManager-0.8.2-alt4.git20101126.

Yes it shares the connection. It works, and I have NM-0.8.3.998. From my point of view bug closed.
