Description Yuri N. Sedunov 2003-11-03 04:03:16 MSK
from devices.txt (current kernel documentation)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is recommended that these links exist on all systems:

/dev/core	/proc/kcore	symbolic	Backward compatibility
/dev/ramdisk	ram0 symbolic	Backward compatibility
/dev/ftape	qft0 symbolic	Backward compatibility
/dev/bttv0	video0 symbolic	Backward compatibility
/dev/radio	radio0 symbolic	Backward compatibility
/dev/i2o*	/dev/i2o/*	symbolic	Backward compatibility
/dev/scd?	sr? hard Alternate SCSI CD-ROM name
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not all of this links provided by dev package.
Comment 1 Kachalov Anton 2003-11-03 13:20:39 MSK
/dev/bttv* уже давно никто не использует (например, из xawtv ChangeLog: 2.13:
switched to the new device files: s|/dev/bttv|/dev/video| Сейчас версия
3.80,т.ч. это было _очень_ давно)
/dev/scd? есть, но ввиде девайса, насчёт /dev/sr? нужно подумать
/dev/i2o* -> /dev/i2o/*  тоже нужно подумать
Comment 2 Kachalov Anton 2003-11-04 12:36:33 MSK
Реакции из devel@ никакой не поступило.
/dev/sr? и /dev/i2o* я не включаю.
