This seems not nice -- to sgid to root: [imz@basalt ~]$ rpm -qp /ALT/p8/x86_64/RPMS.classic/man-1.6g-alt3.x86_64.rpm -lv | fgrep /bin/ -rwx--s--x 1 root root 48960 Mar 4 2014 /usr/bin/man -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1121 Mar 4 2014 /usr/bin/man-show-source -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3203 Mar 4 2014 /usr/bin/man-source -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 505 Mar 4 2014 /usr/bin/man2dvi -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 56008 Mar 4 2014 /usr/bin/man2html lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3 Mar 4 2014 /usr/bin/manpath -> man [imz@basalt ~]$ rpm -qp /ALT/p8/x86_64/RPMS.classic/man-1.6g-alt3.x86_64.rpm --scripts preinstall scriptlet (through /bin/sh): /usr/sbin/useradd -r -g man -d /var/cache/man -s /dev/null -n cacheman >/dev/null 2>&1 ||: [imz@basalt ~]$
Может, заменить в p8 на man-db?
man-db ушёл в p8 $ ls -l /usr/bin/man -rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 100464 May 4 22:33 /usr/bin/man
