Развернул систему из systemd-bare-20180706-x86_64.tar
В архиве был работающий /etc/os-release.
Сделал apt dist-upgrade.
/etc/os-release исчез полностью, оставшиеся файлы стали несоответствующими спецификации:
# cat /etc/altlinux-release
ALT Linux Sisyphus (unstable)

В результате без ручной правки /etc/os-release не запускается контейнер systemd-nspawn с этой системой.

Надо выяснять в sisyphus@ или же при помощи audit(8), кто мог его так сломать -- пакет branding-altlinux-sisyphus-release не менялся с 25.09.2017 г.
