%define foo*bar baz

defines macro "foo" with value "*bar baz"

but

%foo*bar is not expanded at all

Note that %-f* should be expanded as argument to flag f. 
%* and %** are also valid exoansions. 
 
So I'm waiting for more concrete suggestion.
