Description Fr. Br. George 2004-08-13 14:49:39 MSD
I have a notebook (DELL latitude CPx) with one USB1 slot and mouse connected to
it. When I need to use USB Flash, I shut down X and replace mouse with flash.
The flash works well.
But when I'm switching back to mouse, it is not working.
The mouse does not working until I remove mousedev module and insert it back,
and restart gpm.
Only a few men know this recipe!
An it requires root privileges, that's no good.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Plug out usb mouse
2. Plug in usb flash
3. Plug out usb flash
4. Plug in mouse
5. rmmod mousedev; insmod mousedev; service gpm rtestart
Actual Results:
Mouse isn't working after step 4
Mouse works again after step 5

Expected Results:
Mouse will work after step 4

Это исправлено в ядре 2.6.

В ядре 2.4, это, к сожалению - практически не исправимо ;-(
