При работе из-за http proxy любая попытка скачать файл приводит к ошибке.
Команда 'ls' отрабатывается нормально:

[mutabor@nort saints]$ set | grep ftp_proxy

Причём доступ по ftp с помощью Mozilla работает нормально, apt-get -- тоже.

Версия lftp: lftp-3.0.6-alt1. ОС ALT Linux Master2.4 beta.
Proxy-server: ОС Linux Slackware 7, proxy-server: oops-1.5.8

Если требуется ещё какая-нибудь информация, уточните, пожалуйста, какая именно.

Enable to reproduce with lftp-3.5.9,
please reopen if you still experience this problem.
