при копировании файлов > ~1мб с/на ресурс cifs система подвисает намертво,  
помогает только холодный рестарт. в логи при этом ничего не успевает попасть. 
 
устойчиво воспроизводимо на kernel-image-std-up-2.4.29-alt5 
kernel-modules-cifs-std-up-1.20-alt1.5. с маленькими файлами все ок, на 2.6 
все вообще ок.

2.4.x kernels are no longer supported in Sisyphus.
