Steps to Reproduce:
1. $ xfig
2. File -> Open...
3. Enter e.g. "/bin/tar" as Filename and press Enter
Actual Results:  
xfig3.2.4: SIGSEGV signal trapped

Expected Results:  
An error message should be displayed
