Если в начале исходника на Objective-C >10 строк комментария, этот файл ошибочно определяется как matlab.

Я обычно в /usr/share/vim/filetype.vim добавляю в функцию FTCheck_m() проверку на \'^\\s*//\' и \'^\\s*/\\*\'
