Пакет невозможно установить, т.к. он требует то, что старый пакет делал provides
сам:

# apt-get install python-module-setuptools
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done

distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against

Вообще при локальной сборке в hasher у меня дома, этот пакет собрался правильно,
а вот при сборке в сизиф похоже не отработал автопоиск provides.

Попробую дома пересобрать его еще раз и после этого буду думать.

Новая версия собралась нормально... какой-то глюк incoming вобщем...
